Glues
Making glue last
There are a couple things you can do to make glues last longer. For wood glues, I store the bottle upside down in a small rack I made. The rack is made of some scrap wood with holes to fit the glue bottle drilled into the top. I also try to squeeze as much air out of the bottle as possible.
On the other hand, trying to make glue last too long isn't good. Glue, like most things, has a shelf life and trying to get a $5 bottle glue to last forever is often a lost cause. Yes, you can save a few bucks buying in bulk, but if you don't use it all up soon enough, you'll end up with cheap, bad glue.
I also have a small rack just for my epoxy bottles. When it's thick epoxy doesn't flow well, so storing them top down speeds up the glueing.
