Parts Lost in Space

A lot of times when you get a tool or accessory, there will be parts left over that you don't need at once. I recently bought a router table and there was a whole bunch of extra screws and bolts to mount various brand routers to the table.

In this case I changed from a Skil to Porter-Cable router and no longer required the screws used to mount the Skil router. To prevent from forgetting what they were for or using them in my next magnificent project, I put the parts into a small zip-lock bag and labeled it. Of course, that won't prevent me from forgetting where I store them, but when I eventually find them again, I'll know what they're for.
